Our first review is all about the 6 feet hdmi cable from DVI Gear. It is the current bestseller over on Amazon and we decided that has earned it the right to be our first reviewed cable! First off, the price is really really low. Remember how i said that retails stores can charge you $100+ for your hdmi cable (i personally went to check the prices at a few of our biggest retailers!), well this one is currently on sale for below $3! This enourmous price difference called for split testing! What i did is i went to a retail store and bought one on the expensive side $119 and i ordered this one through Amazon. I own a hd tv and hd dvd player so i hooked them up. First i tried the cheaper model and the picture looked awesome as usual and so i tried the expensive model. Nothing changed! Just the price had a really really big difference!

That covers the price section, now to some specifics. You get a life time warranty for this baby since the connectors are 24k gold-plated. It has all the necessary ATC certifications which show that these cables can be used to pass a HD signal up to 1080p! This is a really good hdmi cable which will be hard to beat in our next tests!

This might be just a simple adaptor, but you really need a good one if you want to keep the signal quality when extending a not long enough HDMI cable. I have to say that I have tried several, some more expensive, others at 1 or 2 dollars just to have a couple of benchmarks for this one. The truth is that the Syba adapter is really good quality considering the low 5 dollar price.

You can actually tell from the way it looks that it is a high quality product and besides being very cheap, it also has a free shipping policy. I have used this item for an extended HDMI cable. First it tried a single adapter to double the length of my HDMI cable from my PS3 to my TV. The signal loss was insignificant and probably due to the fact that the PS3 doesn’t have a high enough power output. The video was still crisp and you could enjoy the content to the best. Further, I tried giving it another 6 feet, using a second Syba adapter. Again, the image was good and the length was triple that of the initial cable.

It is also important to point out that the adapter has a very strong grasp on the cable and will not easily come out, so you can use it in any situation and even if you have to take the signal up and over some obstacles. I really am amazed because the quality, in general, is at least equal that of a lot more expensive items. I recommend this adapter to anyone and you can purchase several, so you can extend the cable as much as you like. Although, at some point, you will need an amplifier because the source can only provide with a limited amount of signal power.

This type of adapter is not so common and it took some time until I managed to track one down. The fact of the matter is that I really needed a couple of these to create the connection between the HD satellite dish receiver that needed to be further away from my TV than the cable was long. So, I purchased two of these adapters and they worked perfectly. In fact, one of them is outside the house, incased in a plastic container to keep it dry and I have been using this setup for around 2 months now, and I have not encountered any problems so far.

Again, with these connectors there are two characteristics that are more important. First is that the adapter doesn’t degrade the signal quality, and this one doesn’t. The second important aspect is that the connecter is strong enough to grasp the cable properly and keep it tight even if the cable is completely suspended. Some HDMI cables that are longer can weigh several pounds, so this characteristic is rather important.

Finally, the price. This adapter costs 2.21 dollars at the moment and I think it is a very good price. In fact, if you go to any retail electronics store, they will charge 15-20 dollars for something like this, and that is simply outrageous. So, go online and shop for this item there. 2 dollars is basically for free, you won’t even feel it.

So, in the end, this is a good product for the money and it does its’ job correctly without any kind of issues. The signal is good, it is not affected by the cable length and it is easy to install. I am sure that you wouldn’t need anything more from an HDMI adapter.

HDMI Right Angle Adapter Male to Female

I have been looking for such an adapter for a very long time and I have finally managed to find one. It’s not that it is some sort of engineering master piece, it’s just that I really need one for the back of my TV (the normal cable has a really long hard piece and that made me pull the TV further out than I wanted to) and now I have one.

The simple fact of the matter is this. This right angle HDMI adapter is useful for several types of connections because of the ergonomic design. It provides with a very nice build quality and because of the right angle, you will actually save a lot more space than you imagine. The difference is huge.
